Thank you for volunteering to be a Room Parent! Room Parents help enhance our students education experience and is essential for connecting parents and teachers. Your commitment and dedication for our teachers and school is greatly appreciated!
Turtle Rock PTA will host a Room Parent Orientation meeting on September 17, 2025 at 8:30am in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) to review your responsibilities and provide suggested resources and templates to support you. The MPR is located next to the front office.
The orientation letter below explains the responsibilities of a Room Parent, and also the purpose of the other attached documents.
Room Parents are required to complete an online volunteer registration and screening on Raptor and complete all the required steps, which includes providing a photo ID to the Turtle Rock Elementary School office. Volunteer registrations expire in June and volunteers need to re-register every school year. On-campus volunteers need to report the school office before each volunteer shift and print a name tag.
