Important! PTA General Assembly Meeting, Friday 9/27, 8am

On Friday, 9/29, at 8:00 am we will have our first PTA General Assembly of the year. Please join us at the school Multipurpose Room (MPR) to be a part of the PTA discussion and our plans for the year. The agenda for the meeting is:

  • Call to Order & Welcome
  • Approval of May Minutes
  • Approval of May/June Treasurer’s Report
  • Approval of 2023-2024 Budget
  • President’s Update
  • Principal’s Update              

Fall Membership Pledge Drive

We hope everyone has had a great start to the school year! Our Fall Membership Pledge Drive is going on NOW! Go here for details.  

All students who have at least ONE family member sign up for PTA ($25) will get a Panda Express kids meal voucher, and a goodie bag with fun prizes! NEW prize added: A Dave and Busters Discount Card ($50 Game Card with $25 purchase)

In addition to our basic membership ($25/adult), our pledge drive offers four donation level packages with fun prizes. Please donate if you can. There is not enough public funding for many of the programs that our school offers. Our PTA helps fill that funding gap to provide enrichment for all of our Turtle Rock Elementary students. PTA donations fund assemblies, field trips (a portion), STEM enrichment, performing arts, our school library, Reflections, classroom accounts (each classroom teacher is given funds to support their classroom), and more! In addition, PTA organizes multiple family events throughout the year, such as Movie Night, Fall Festival, and Multicultural Festival. This is one of two major fundraisers we have all year, and the amount we raise will determine how many of our programs we can fund this year. If you are eligible for corporate matching donations through your employer, please send an email to membershipVP@turtlerockpta.org for more information about the process. 

Suggested pledge packages for families: Silver $250 (for 1 student), Gold $475 (for 2+ students)

PTA Reflections: Entries Due October 13, 2023

The 2023–2024 Reflections Arts Program celebrating student creativity is now underway. This year's theme is “I am Hopeful Because…” All Turtle Rock students are invited to submit their completed works of art in one of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. The deadline to submit at the school level is October 13, 2023. More information is available here.
