Jogathon 2026: Color Run is Wednesday, April 15!

Jogathon is an annual event at Turtle Rock that is both a memorable and fun day for all of our students and the largest PTA fundraiser of the year. Funds raised support the school's PE and STEM programs, classroom supplies, field trips, and much more. Parents will be invited to come watch their students run and participate in the color blast experience. All students will receive PTA provided sunglasses to wear for this special event. 

We are using Pledgestar to collect all of our Jogathon donations. This web based fundraising platform allows for secure credit card donations online and makes it easy to request pledges from family and friends.

To register your student and to donate, please follow the steps below:

1) Go to turtlerock.pledgestar.com

2) Select "Not registered for this event?" (Even if you have used Pledgestar in the past, you will need a new registration for this year).

3) Enter Parent info here to create an account and click submit.

4) Once you have created a parent account, you can now add your students as "joggers" (all Turtle Rock students in your family).

5) Scroll all the way down to "Add Family & Friends + Track Donations" and add yourself again (the parent) and your email (or phone) as a donor. You will then see the "Donate Now" option.

6) You may also add in family and friends and send donation requests to them via email or social media. 

Student Experience Prizes, Raffles, and more!

Based on each individual student's donation levels:

$100+: Each student who raises $100 will receive a Surprise Goodie Bag and 1 raffle ticket for $100 tier

$200+: Each student who raises $200 will receive a Pizza Party, a Surprise Goodie Bag, 1 raffle ticket for $200 tier, and 1 raffle ticket for $100 tier

$350+: Each student who raises $350+ will receive a Game Truck reward, a Pizza Party, a Surprise Goodie Bag, 1 raffle ticket for $350 tier, 1 raffle ticket for $200 tier, and 1 raffle ticket for $100 tier

For families $650+: For each family that raises combined donations totaling $650+, ALL students in the family will get Game Truck, Pizza Party, Surprise Goodie Bag, 1 raffle ticket for $350 tier, 1 raffle ticket for $200 tier, and 1 raffle ticket for $100 tier

Raffle Prizes! Based on your family's donation total, you will be entered into the following raffles:

$100+: Target gift card, CFA gift card, Mathnasium vouchers (~$50 value), JCC Kids Night Out ($60 value), and more!

$200+: Target gift card, 1 mo of classes at Focus Dance Center ($187 value), 1 set of AoPS Beast Academy books (~$100 value), 4 semi-private lessons at Waterworks ($147 value), 1 mo classes at Olympia Training Center ($300 value), tickets to a UCI sporting event ($140 value), and more!

$350+: 1 night stay at the Pendry Newport Beach complete with gift bag (~$500 value), 2 preseason tickets to a LA Lakers game (~$200 value), front row seats to a Turtle Rock event inc parking (priceless)

Lower Grade - 30 minutes of extra recess

Top Fundraising Classes for both Upper & Primary Grades:
1st Place - Water Balloon + Popsicle Party + Teacher Car Wash!

3rd Place - Class Picnic with the Principals!

FAQs

• Can I send in a check for my donation? Yes, checks can be turned in to the front office or to your student’s teacher. Please make sure to still register on Pledgestar and add your student as a jogger. This makes it so that we can track your donation and make sure your student receives the correct donation prizes. 
• Can I register for Pledgestar on my phone? Yes! If the website is not working on your phone, you can try downloading the mobile app (Android or Apple). Once on the app, you enter “turtlerock” as the event code. Then follow the on screen instructions for how to register. 
• What if I have multiple students? How do you allocate donations to each student? Pledgestar automatically divides donations equally between students in the same family but you can choose to allocate different amounts as well. The highest fundraiser in each class is determined by student, not family. 
• Why do I need to register my student? Can they still participate if they are not registered? All students can participate in the Jogathon and will receive sunglasses regardless of registration status. Registering on Pledgestar allows us to track donations for each student and for all students in a family. This ensures that individual and class rewards are tracked accurately. All students who are registered will also receive a Splash sticker. 

Participation Waiver

Participation in the Jogathon constitute acceptance of the waiver and consent to all conditions outlined in the waiver.
