Dear Turtle Rock Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer! As the new school year approaches, I would like to share some of the plans PTA has for the 2022-2023 school year. We look forward to having you involved! 

We are excited to help welcome everyone back to campus and are hosting a tour for new families and a Welcome Back Breakfast and a First Day of School Lunch for teachers and staff. We have fun events planned throughout the school year and I encourage you to save the dates found on this flyer.

We will be bringing back Family Movie Night in September and Fall Festival is planned again for October. We will provide enrichment assemblies for all of the students, as well as a classroom budget for each teacher to purchase supplies for their lessons and support for field trips. We will also provide a STEM enrichment program and a supplemental Art Masters program. Later in the year Mr. Stonebarger will host another Zoom Pizza Night and there will be many other fun events and activities to support the success and wellness of every student. 

All PTA programs are made possible through the support of our families. I would like to personally invite your family to join PTA and every parent to commit one hour of your time to volunteer at one of our events. The first event we have a great need for is Fall Festival- please sign up to help here. When we all pitch in, amazing things are possible for our students! 

Please also plan to join our parent meet ups throughout the school year to get to know the Turtle Rock community! The first one will take place before the first PTA General Assembly meeting after drop off on September 13th, and we invite you to grab a cup of coffee from the hosted coffee truck. 

We are also excited to announce our new website address at www.turtlerockpta.org. Please update your bookmarks to stay up to date on PTA events, activities and information, including our calendar. We encourage you to sign up to receive PTA updates and also follow us on social media. We are on Facebook and Instagram and will provide updates throughout the school year on these channels as well. 

We look forward to making this year as fun and successful as possible for all of our Turtle Rock students. I wish you and your family all the best this school year!
