The Executive Board of the PTA plans and supports school events, provides resources and strives to enrich school experiences for our students. Without the participation of parents on the Executive Board, events such as the Fall Festival, Movie Night, Multicultural Festival, Jogathon and the publication of the Yearbook would not be possible. 

So, we are looking for parents who would be interested in joining the Executive Board. The time commitment is not substantial, which includes a board meeting once per month and a general assembly meeting every other month. Some of the benefits include:

• Become more involved in your child’s education and school life

• Demonstrate to your child the importance of education

• Learn about school programs before they are executed and have the opportunity to change, improve or introduce new programs

• Opportunity to partner with school administration and teachers and contribute to making the school better 

• Gain personal skills such as leadership, community engagement, increased self confidence, computer knowledge and public speaking

• Expand your support network and friendships with other parents from the same and other grade levels
