Dear Turtle Rock Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Turtle Rock!

Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our community. The PTA has been busy planning a variety of fun and enriching activities, and we can’t wait to share them with you and your family!

Our goal this year is to create memorable experiences for our students and to build a strong, supportive community among our families. Here’s a glimpse of what we have planned:

• Family Movie Night: A cozy evening under the stars, perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Bring your blankets, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the show!
• Fall Festival: The highlight of the season! Our Halloween-themed festival is packed with costumes, games, treats, and plenty of spooky fun. It’s an event that promises to be a hit with the kids and a wonderful opportunity for families to connect.
• Enrichment Assemblies: Throughout the year, we’ll host various assemblies designed to inspire and educate our students, making learning both fun and engaging.

• Classroom Support: Each teacher receives a classroom budget to enhance their lessons, ensuring that every student has access to the resources they need for success.
• Field Trips: We’re proud to support those special out-of-the-classroom experiences that bring learning to life and create lasting memories for our students.
• Zoom Pizza Night with Mr. Stonebarger: A fun, interactive event where families can connect with our principal while enjoying some delicious pizza. It’s a great way to stay engaged with the school community.
• Dine-Outs and Fundraisers: Throughout the year, we’ll have opportunities for you to dine out and give back, with a portion of your meal’s cost going directly to support Turtle Rock programs.
• Red Ribbon Week: Led by our Student Council, this week focuses on making healthy choices and staying drug-free, with activities designed to educate and empower students.
• Holiday Gift Drive: A cherished tradition where we come together to support those in need within our community during the holiday season.
• Book Fairs: Our Fall and Spring Book Fairs are always a big hit! They’re the perfect chance to build your home library while supporting our school.
• Valentine’s Day Teacher Lunch: We love showing our appreciation for the amazing teachers at Turtle Rock, and this special lunch is one way we do that.
• Multicultural Festival: Celebrate the rich diversity of our community with a festival featuring food, music, and activities from cultures around the world. It’s a vibrant and joyful event that showcases the spirit of Turtle Rock.

These events are just a taste of what’s to come, and we’d love for you to be a part of the fun! All of our PTA programs are made possible by the support of our families. We encourage you to join the PTA and get involved—whether it’s volunteering at an event or simply attending, your participation makes a huge difference. And don’t forget to join our parent meetups throughout the year. These gatherings are a great way to connect with other parents, share experiences, and become an active part of the Turtle Rock community.
